The results of investigations into physical-chemical processes proceeding i
n the dispersed air bubbles in the solutions of surface-active substances a
re presented. It is established that a specially prepared activated aqueous
dispersion of air interacts actively with minerals which attach on the sur
face of bubbles. A new pneumatic flotation machine and devices adapted to t
he existing flotation machines are created to obtain dispersion. Using apat
ite, fluorite, sylvinite, copper-nickel, and antimony ores as an example, t
he efficiency of their separation is shown under stated conditions.
