Virtual reality and urban simulation in planning: A literature review and topical bibliography

The following literature overview and bibliography was initially compiled w hile the author was a faculty member at Texas A&M University. The initial c ompilation was incorporated into a 1997 NSF grant application titled Virtua l Reality and Urban Simulation Technology: Theory, Development and Applicat ion for Planning and Natural Hazards. The author accepted a position at the University of Louisville in June 1999, and in the fall of that year and th e spring of 2000, the bibliography was updated to reflect the recent additi ons to this field. A selection of urban simulation-related Web sites are in cluded in the last section of the bibliography.
