Abstract
We propose a method of controlling chaos in the standard map under noise. T his method is composed of targeting and stabilizing algorithms. To direct o r stabilize trajectories, at every iteration, we add an external force to t he system and require the so-called maximal or minimal expected deviation c ondition. As an illustrating example, we control a trajectory to hop among three periodic orbits.
