Abstract
The displacement of a pin through a foam divides bubbles in a controlled wa y. We have used this method to produce patterned two-dimensional (2D) and t hree-dimensional (3D) foams with translational symmetry and relatively comp lex topologies. We describe the experimental techniques used and show the 2 D and 3D patterns obtained with them.
