I. Watanabe et al., Muon spin relaxation study on magnetic properties of Nd2-xCexCuO4 around aboundary between the magnetically ordered and superconducting states, PHYSICA C, 357, 2001, pp. 212-215
Zero-field and longitudinal-field muon spin relaxation (mu SR) measurements
have been carried out in order to investigate magnetic properties of the e
lectron-doped high-T-c oxides of Nd2-xCexCuO4 around a boundary between the
magnetically ordered state and the superconducting one. A fast muon-spin d
epolarizing component by a static internal field was observed in the oxygen
-reduced superconducting single crystal with x = 0.15 below about 10 K, ind
icating that a part of Cu and/or Nd spins shows a magnetically ordered stat
e. The present mu SR study suggests a possibility of a coexisting or a phas
e-separated state around x = 0.15. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All right
