Abstract
Frequency response of ac loss peak of complex susceptibility has been inves tigated in different ac magnetic field for YBa2Cu3O7 textured crystals with different thickness. The ac loss peak shifts towards higher temperatures w ith increasing frequency. This frequency-dependent behavior is enhanced as the thickness of the sample increases. Besides, the width of the ac loss pe ak increases with both frequency and sample size. The phenomena observed ar e attributed to the influence of flux flow, creep and the thermal conductio n and non-uniform distribution of temperature associated with the ac loss i n the sample, (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
