Abstract
Nd-system superconductor prepared by melt growth method in a low oxygen atm osphere exhibits good superconductivity. It is difficult to fabricate a lar ge grain of Nd-system superconductor, since the grain-growth rate in Nd-sys tem superconductor was sensitively dependent on the degree of undercooling. In this study, we fabricated Nd-system superconductor by changing grain-gr owth temperature. The maximum T-c of 91 K and J(c) of 3.0 x 10(4) A/cm(2) w ere obtained in the sample grown at 945 degreesC. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
