A large fraction of the mass in the Universe can be in the form of dark mat
ter, of which a Weakly Interacting Massive Particle (WIMP) is one of the fa
vorite candidates. In supersymmetric extensions of the standard model, the
lightest neutralino arises naturally as a WIMP and hence as a good dark mat
ter candidate. We will here go through how neutralino dark matter can be se
arched for with neutrino telescopes focusing on theoretical predictions of
the neutrino-induced muon fluxes from neutralino annihilations in the cente
r of the Earth and the Sun.
