Velocity, angular. mass, and charge distributions of isotopically resolved
residues coming from the reaction S-32+ C-12 were measured at the bombardin
g energy E(S-32) = 19.5 MeV/nucleon. Complete and incomplete fusion and dir
ect components have been separated in the velocity spectra using kinematica
l analysis and deconvolution techniques. For each residue, incomplete and c
omplete fusion cross sections have been extracted and the results are compa
red with the LILITA code predictions. The complete fusion cross section and
the deduced critical angular momentum are also compared with other experim
ental data and with the predictions of theoretical models.
