Abstract
We use the relativistic distorted wave impulse approximation to analyze dat a on O-16(e,e'p)N-15 at \Q(2)\ less than or equal to0.4 (GeV/c)(2) that wer e obtained by different groups and seemed controversial. Results for differ ential cross sections, response functions, and A(TL) asymmetry are discusse d and compared to different sets of experimental data for proton knockout f rom p(1/2) and p(3/2) shells in O-16. We compare with a nonrelativistic app roach to better identify relativistic effects. The present relativistic app roach is found to accommodate most of the discrepancy between data from dif ferent groups, smoothing a long standing controversy.
