VAI-CON (R) Temp : continuous temperature monitoring in metallurgical vessels

VOEST-ALPINE Industrieanlagenbau (VAI) has developed the VAI-CON (R) Temp s ystem for the continuous temperature monitoring in metallurgical vessels. T he system has been tested for a variety of installations and has reached in dustrial perfection. It has many potential applications (from the electric arc furnace to the continuous casting tundish) and, thanks to the highly ac curate results it provides, it allows a substantially better process contro l than the conventional, discontinuous measuring systems.
