Abstract
Potassium 2-phenylethyneselenolate is slightly dissociated in THF and to a greater extent, in acetonitrile, as demonstrated by the electrolytic conduc tivity data. Results on the electrochemical behavior of potassium 2-phenyle thyneselenotate are used for interpretation of the reactivity of acetylene selenolates.
