Abstract
In the review are summarized and analyzed the data on synthesis, chemical a nd physico-chemical characteristics of C- and N-trimethylsilylazoles. A spe cial attention is paid to Dondoni reagent (2-trimethylsilylthiazole) extens ively used in the asymmetric synthesis.
