Abstract
1,5-Bis(2-carboxyphenyl)-3-(2-furyl)formazan (H2BCFF) and its complexes wit h Zn(II), Cd(II), Hg(II) and Pb(II) and its mixed ligand complexes with 2,2 ' -dipyridyl with Cd(II), Hg(II) and Pb(II) have been synthesized. The str uctures, compositions and properties of these compounds were determined by elemental analyses, IR, H-1 NMR and UV-Vis. Spectra, molar conductivities a nd thermal analyses.
