Abstract
It was found that the field electron emission from the surface of amorphous hydrogenated carbon is accompanied by the emission of negative ions of hyd rogen and hydrocarbons. This ion emission is explained by the formation and degradation of the local surface emission centers. (C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/In terperiodica".
