Abstract
Different modes of heat treatment of Fe - 18% Cr - 0.7% N alloy leadin g to the formation of gamma and alpha solid solutions of iron and deco mposition of the quenched structure on aging are considered. Electron microscopy is used for studying the alloy structure after different he at treatment modes. The relation of the gamma and alpha phases in the structure is studied using X-ray techniques. The properties of the all oy were judged from Rockwell hardness changes. The results are present ed in the form of a S-shape diagram.
