Abstract
The properties of poly(ethylene terephthalate) track membranes exposed to a radiofrequency-discharge air plasma were studied. The influence of conditions of plasma treatment on basic characteristics of membrane s (thickness, pore size and shape, and mechanical strength) was invest igated. It was shown that gas-discharge etching can be used as a proce dure for directional modification of structure of track membranes.
