Abstract
Leishmania infantum MON-24, an agent causing cutaneous leishmaniasis, has o nly been reported once in Southern France. The authors report an additional case which confirms the presence of this zymodeme as agent of cutaneous le ishmaniasis in this area. Treatment with a single course of liposomal ampho tericine B did not show convincing efficacy.
