Psychological models of etiology of paraphilias

The author provides a review of recent behavioral, psychoanalytical, and ps ychopathological (psychodynamic) models of etiopathogenesis of paraphilias. The author, however, presumes that the role of psychological factors in et iology of sexual deviation is rather pathoplastic - modifying sexually non- conforming behavior based on inherent dispositions.
