Abstract
The simple salt CuCl2. 2H(2)O, and the new Cu-substituted polyoxometalate ( POM), Na-7[CuCoW11O39]. 5H(2)O 1 are highly efficient catalysts for the oxi dation of ascorbic acid by peroxynitrite.
