Abstract
The effects of three factors, including the power supply, the arc behaviour
in the arc channel and the fluid dynamic process of the jet, on a plasma s
praying jet have been experimentally detected by means of spectroscopic dia
gnostic techniques. The fast Fourier transform method has been applied to t
he analysis of the arc voltage and spectral Line intensity of the jet. The
three factors have been studied and distinguished from each other.
