Abstract
A novel representation of systems of incompletely specified quaternary func tions, called 'hybrid arithmetic transform'. is Shown. The new transform ut ilises integrated standard and GF(4) algebra as the core of the generalised expansions. The transform matrix of the expansion is defined by an arbitra ry set of orthogonal one-variable functions in GF(4). The introduced expans ion is generalised by applying to it the concept of polarity.
