Abstract
The average intensities of Jovian electrons near the Earth have been inferr ed from the IMP 8 measurements of 2-12 MeV electrons for 1973-1986. The sys tematic changes in the period of the variations in the Jovian electron flux have been estimated for cycle 21 of solar activity. The variations in the period are related to the solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field dyna mics.
