In terms of the YN interaction based on the chiral SU(3) quark model, the s
pectra of light hypernuclei H-4(Lambda), He-4(Lambda) and He-5(Lambda) are
calculated. The result shows that the effective local AN potential, as an a
pproximation, cannot offer a reasonable explanation of the empirical data,
while the non-local AN potential, also as an approximation, can provide a r
easonable range of the binding energy of He-5(Lambda) and correct ordering
of the energy levers of H-4(Lambda), He-4(Lambda). This indicates that the
non-local character of the effective YN interaction plays an important role
in binding behavior. The upper bounds and lower bounds of energy levels ar
e given by employing two sets of model parameters in the calculation. Thus,
the experimental data of hypernuclei can provide more information as the c
onstraints of model. In the present stage, YN interaction(no matter phenome
nology of theoretical interaction) cannot be finalized due to lack of exper
imental data. Utilizing experimental data, it is possible to optimize model
parameters in the theoretical studies of YN interaction.
