Abstract
In this letter, it is Shown how to extend York's phase-shifterless beam ste ering technique to difference pattern scanning for monopulse applications. By making a simple modification to the coupling between the central element s of a one-dimensional array, the effective equivalence of the steered sum and difference problems is established.
