Abstract
Apparent molar volumes (phi (v)) and compressibilities (phi (k)) of MnCl2 i n the concentration range of 0.2 to 1 M, at five different temperatures in aqueous medium have been computed from the measured sound velocities and de nsities. The limiting values of phi (v) (phi (o)(v)), phi (k) (phi (o)(k)) and their concentration variations are explained, on the basis of ion solve nt and ion-ion interactions.
