Abstract
Cerium(III) has been extracted from aqueous H2SO4 medium by alpha-alpha ' d ipyridyl. The effects of neutral donors like trialkyl Phosphine oxides and long chain amines on this extraction system are reported. The method has be en used to determine the cerium content in ore samples.
