Abstract
We investigate conjugate free convection in a semi-infinite porous medium a bove a cold finite plate. Numerical solutions of the coupled governing equa tions for the fluid and the plate regions are obtained, and an analytical m ethod is developed to predict the average temperature of the conjugate boun dary and the Nusselt number.
