Abstract
Theoretical work has been developed for investigating the performance of th e damping and synchronizing torque coefficients for polyphase induction mac hines and synchronous reluctance machines. Six theorems are analytically fo rmulated and proved. These are used as a new study in machine stability cou rses and are found to be useful for engineering education.
