Abstract
Endocervical epithelium from women treated with gonadotropin releasing horm one agonist (GnRH agonist) were compared with those from untreated women, u sing metachromatic stain with toluidine blue and immunohistochemistry, for estrogen and progesterone receptors. Smaller endocervical epithelium with l ower intraepithelial mucus and more prominent nuclear distribution of estro gen receptors were seen in a woman who was treated for twelve months with G nRH agonists, as compared with those from an untreated premenopausal woman.
