Abstract
As applied to the conditions of a significant a priori uncertainty, a compu tationally efficient variational-selective approach to the processing of co mbined information for several meters of angular coordinates is developed. This approach enables us to determine the optimal minimax estimate of the l ocation of an object under observation.
