Abstract
True progress was achieved when the laparoscope was first used to expl
ore the extraperitoneal space, Up to 25 reports on laparoscopic bladde
r neck surgery have been published in the past five years, and a few p
resent prospective data. Laparoscopic surgery for the other aspects of
pelvic floor reconstruction is still only timidly mentioned and in th
e case-study stage.
