The essential oils obtained from the flowering tops of Rosmarinus officinal
is L. collected in two different stations with different microclimatic cond
itions are compared. Some significant differences were observed in the qual
itative and quantitative compositions, mainly for a-pinene (8.9-15.4%), cam
phor (1.4-14.7%) and borneol (2.0-6.8%). The 1,8-cineole content remained s
table at 53.7-58.6%.
