Abstract
Spin-glass models and related methods have been applied to protein folding problems, often by assuming an underlying Gaussian distribution for the ene rgy level distribution. In this paper, we derive robust foldability measure s that relax the Gaussian distribution assumption implicit in current folda bility and energy gap measures. (C) 2001 American Institute of Physics.
