Abstract
Extraction of the marine sponge Tetilla japonica from the Bay of Thailand f urnished tetillapyrone and nortetilla one, two unusual tetrahydrofurylhydro xypyran-2-ones, whose structures were established by NMR spectrometry and a n X-ray analysis of tetillapyrone.
