2 '-deoxycoformycin for hepatosplenic gamma delta T-cell lymphoma

We describe a patient with unusually indolent hepatosplenic 76 T cell lymph oma characterised by severe lassitude and high fever. No significant respon ses were obtained to a range of chemotherapeutic and biological agents. 2 ' -deoxycoformycin (dCF), however, produced a dramatic and sustained clinica l and histological response. This is the second recent report of gamma delt a T cell lymphoma. responding to dCF, suggesting this agent may have a spec ific role in this condition.
