Abstract
A dual-modulation scheme to simultaneously transmit broadband signals on bo th baseband (BB) and millimeter-wave RF carriers over optical fiber links i s proposed and demonstrated. The key parameters of this technique are optim ized for achieving the best performance in Gbit / s wireless millimeter-wav e fiber networks. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
