Abstract
In this brief paper it is proposed that the suffix -et/-it attested in Old English (Anglian) first and second person accusative dual personal pronouns is an archaism whose etymon was ultimately an Indo_European non-singular d esinence in *-(elo)T)T=/t/ or /d/).
