Abstract
Anchorosternum, gen. nov. is described from China with A. sinensis, sp. nov . as the type species. It is distinguished from the related genera by havin g the prosternal tablet (elevated middle portion) with a median longitudina l carina and elevated middle portion of mesosternum being elongate-pentagon al and broadly fused with the metasternum.
