Abstract
Tamfelt is investing in the use and development of image processing techniq ues to determine the effects of machine fabrics on paper quality The articl e on pages 380-384 describes methods for analysing the intensity of marking , determining the shrinkage profile of CD samples, filler coverage in studi es of two-sidedness, z-directional distribution of filler, and fibre orient ation in the different layers obtained by splitting.
