Abstract
Transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and measurements of a number of properties carried out in a wide temperature range were used to s tudy the martensitic transformations in quasi-binary TiNi-TiFe alloys with a shape memory effect obtained by rapid quenching using melt spinning. The mechanical properties of the alloys were also studied.
