Contemporary state of investigations on isotope separation in plasma using
selective ion-cyclotron resonance heating (ICR) is considered. The most att
ention is paid to the necessary conditions of heating selectivity, plasma c
reation methods in isotopes, ICR-separation facilities, and the selection o
f antenna systems for the heating and selection principles of more heated c
omponent. Experimental results obtained at different isotope mixtures separ
ation are presented.
