Abstract
The photoabsorption cross-section in Xe has been measured in order to deter mine the features of the shake processes resulting from multiple electron e xcitations as a function of photon energy. Double-electron transitions of [ 1s4d], [1s4p], [1s4s], and [1s3d] have been detected. (C) 2001 Elsevier Sci ence Ltd. All rights reserved.
