Abstract
An experimental electron beam sludge irradiation system was used to treat s ludge to see irradiation effects on suspended solids. Results showed that t otal suspended solids (TSS) decreased after the samples were irradiated and volatile suspended solids (VSS) showed the same trend. (C) 2001 Elsevier S cience Ltd.
