The solubility in the system Li2MoO4-iSO-C5H11OH-H2O was studied at 25 degr
eesC. It is shown that the mutual solubility of the solvents noticeably dec
reases as more Li2MoO4 is added to the C5H11OH-H2O mixture. The C5H11OH sol
ubility decreases from 2.69 wt % in pure water to 0.08 wt % in a saturated
(44.48%) aqueous solution of Li2MoO4, while the H2O Solubility in iso-C5H11
OH decreases front 9.87 to 1.84 wt % in the presence of traces of Li2MoO4.
The conjugated saturated liquid phases in a nonvariant equilibrium with sol
id Li2MoO4 and vapor have the composition (wt %): L-E1, 44.48% Li2MoO4, 0.0
8% C5H11OH, and 55.44% H2O; L-E2, <0.00003% Li2MoO4, 1.84% H2O, and 98.16%
C5H11OH. The density, refractive index, dynamic viscosity, and electrical c
onductivity of the saturated solutions of the system were determined. The i
sotherms of the specific and molar volumes, kinematic viscosity, and equiva
lent and reduced electrical conductivity of the solutions were calculated.
