Abstract
An intramolecular radical cyclisation protocol on 5-hexenyl systems was uti lised for the first time in a synthesis of (+)-dihydrocanadensolide and its C-3 epimer, This study also revealed the effect of the additional stereoce ntre at the 2 ' -position of the radical systems.
