Abstract
This paper discusses the synthesis of an analog-to-digital converter ( ADC) based only on optical technology. The advantages of this ADC are high technological effectiveness, the possibility of fabrication in in tegrated form, stability against external actions, and also fast respo nse, close to the highest possible for optical information-processing systems.
