Abstract
U-Pb zircon ages of synmetamorphic granitoids (481 +/- 5 Ma) and postm etamorphic quartz syenites (474 +/- 5 Ma) of the Slyudyanka crystallin e complex were determined. These rocks formed during the second tecton o-metamorphic cycle and were metamorphosed to granulite facies. Accord ing to our geochronological data, the high-temperature metamorphism of the southern Baikal crystalline complexes occurred during the Early P aleozoic regional evolutionary stage.
