Abstract
A reversible phase transition between two different thermo-tropic cubic pha ses is observed in a mixture of two carboxylic acids. Such a transition was characterised by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and direct optical micro scopy; an image of a facetted droplet just at the transition between the tw o phases is shown in the picture.
