Je. Exner, A comment on "The misperception of psychopathology: Problems with the norms of the Comprehensive System for the Rorschach", CL PSYCH-SC, 8(3), 2001, pp. 386-388
Some of the differences between the published nonpatient data for the Compr
ehensive System (CS) and the nonpatient data presented by Shaffer, Erdberg,
and Haroian can be explained partially because of differences in the distr
ibution of R. However, differences for the X+% and X-% are less clear and r
equire further investigation. The data presented by Wood et al. do not supp
ort the contention that CS nonpatient data lead to a misperception of psych
opathology; such a postulate may be derived from a misperception about the
test and how it is used.
